As noted previously, I am taking a canoe trip this summer. 1,200 miles by motorized canoe, give or take a few miles. In this video, I take the viewers on a walk around my canoe and then we quickly visit a few of the places I will see this summer. Like Great Sand Bay, above.
Eagle-eyed viewers will catch the Oppo sticker at the 4:00 mark. Even so, the whole video is worth a watch.
Stay tuned for updates.

When you swing by pictured rocks up in the UP, take lots of pics.

Just watch out for bears. Apparently, they love kayaks and/or canoes. I’m not sure if they know the difference.

Really cool! What an amazing trip.
I don’t know a thing, but the rubber fuel line running through metal clamps would make me nervous about chafing.
Have fun and be safe. That is gong to be jys incredible. What a way to take a trip!

I dare them to try and bite through the aluminum. If they survive, they deserve the win.

Nice boat. you’ll want a longer tiller unless you plan on sitting at the very back with the stinky loud motor;

Also if you could figure out how to get that front seat lower it would be a lot more comfortable and stable.
Pontoons are great but they are slow - and you don’t want to relay on them because the boat isn’t loaded properly.
Otherwise have fun!
We were out last weekend;

12 MPH on glassy smooth water. The 5 horse is the max for the canoe.

The motor is loud but not smelly. I’ll probably just go with ear plugs. There will be a person in the front for counter-balancing.

Sorry, I know this is sort of an inopportune place to bring this up, but I recently bought a car in Wisconsin, and upon further (professionally certified) inspection noticed that the car had been in a pretty substantial rear end collision. The title is clean, with no reported accidents, but it’s very obviously been crashed. What, if any protections under law do I have here?

Very nice Steve, I need to talk to you about a potential class action against Honda. I am hoping you can give me some direction.
